Sources still needed
- 1880 census or other pre-1900 record for Edger Tolbert, Elnora Tolbert, or Louis Tolbert.
- 1910 or later census records for any member of the household under Tolbert/Talbert/Toliver/Torbert variants.
- Marriage record for Edger and Elnora, or any record naming Elnora's maiden surname.
- Death, burial, or cemetery records for Edger, Elnora, and Louis.
- A FamilySearch tree profile with sources beyond the 1900 census. The current tree attachment is secondary/minimal and does not add independent proof.
June 14, 2026 continuation check: FamilySearch returned the same 1900 Edger/Elnora/Louis Tolbert household and the already-rejected 1880 Edgar D. Torbert of Clay County. The other visible hits diverged by place, age, or identity. No later census, marriage, death, burial, or stronger tree-source profile surfaced for Edger, Elnora, or Louis.
Status: Source-exhausted for available online sources. The FamilySearch re-check surfaced the same 1900 household and unrelated or unproved Edgar/Edger Tolbert candidates; no new direct continuation record was found.
