Henry Dean

Decision

Supplemental early settler; verified household presence by 1830 and strong future-Brooks land evidence. A preserved 1830 Lowndes census transcription reports Henry Dean's four-person household, and the 1840 transcription reports a nine-person household. Reconstructed Lowndes deed locators place him on District 12 Lots 492 and 436 in 1838–1841. Huxford's officer table identifies Henry Dean as first lieutenant of the 790th District on January 12, 1836; the underlying commission was not inspected.

Identity and household

Henry remains separate from John Dean and William E. Dean. The 1830 household was reported as three males and one female; the 1840 household as six males and three females. Those totals do not identify a wife or children. No parent-naming, marriage, probate, or Bible record was found in the documented search.

Land

The reconstructed deed index supplies a coherent chain:

These locators strongly place Henry in the future-Brooks land record, but the recorded instruments have not been inspected for legal descriptions, witnesses, or family language.

Barney relevance

Broader future-Brooks context; no direct Barney influence proved.
